My Interests:

One of my chief interests that I miss most after coming to United States is watching cricket. Though looking at the match fixing allegations that has hit cricket in recent times, my interest in this sport has waned. Every other match that I think of, that India lost from a winning position seems like it was fixed by somebody.

My other interests include watching movies, listening to music and surfing the web. Lately, I have developed this habit of surfing web for articles about the latest developments in the field of e-commerce.

One of other interests that I miss a lot after coming to United States is my love for productions and organizational work. I had done a lot of these things during my undergraduate years and enjoyed immensely doing these things. By far organization work has been my first luv. I greatly treasure my memories of being part of the core group of Mood Indigo'97 and also the memories of coordinating productions for Performing Arts Festival during my undergraduate years.

Lately, I have developed interest in one of the American sport, Baseball. I rarely miss watching any game of Atlanta Braves on television and enjoy it immensely. The dream of seeing the NBA games live on TV got fulfilled after coming here. I was very disappointed when Indiana Pacers lost fighting to the invincible Lakers.

After coming to United States, I have started playing squash and Wallyball. Wallyball, is the American version of Volleyball play in a closed room. I was part of my department's team who were Intramural Champions for Spring of 2000.
